1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to people who create or manage a Together Forever account, visitors to our website, and guests who view an invitation, browse a registry page, or submit information through a public invitation.
2. Information we collect
The information we process depends on how you use the service.
- Account information: your name, email address, authentication details, and basic profile information.
- Invitation and event information: invitation titles, descriptions, custom URLs, event wording, design settings, fonts, colors, form settings, and related preferences.
- Guest responses: names, party or household information, mailing addresses, country and regional information, and other responses requested by the invitation owner.
- Uploaded content: invitation images, background images, and optional audio files.
- Registry information: registry provider, label, destination URL, and display order.
- Technical information: browser and device information, IP address, cookies or similar identifiers, timestamps, logs, and diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the service.
3. Where information comes from
We receive information directly from account holders, from guests who submit invitation forms, and automatically from browsers and devices when people use the service. An account holder may enter or upload information about guests or other people; the account holder is responsible for having permission or another lawful basis to do so.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Create and manage accounts and authenticate users
- Build, customize, preview, and publish invitations and registry pages
- Collect, organize, display, and export guest responses
- Prepare address-label previews and printable files
- Store and deliver uploaded images and audio
- Provide optional AI-assisted invitation styling
- Send service-related messages and respond to support requests
- Prevent abuse, protect accounts, maintain reliability, and troubleshoot problems
- Understand and improve how the service performs
- Comply with law and enforce our terms
5. AI-assisted features
When an account holder asks the service to generate an invitation style, relevant design preferences and theme settings may be sent to an AI provider to produce suggestions. This feature is intended to decide presentation choices such as colors, fonts, form style, image placement, image treatment, card use, and card transparency. Account holders should review generated settings before publishing them.
6. Public pages
Invitation and registry pages can be viewed by anyone who has their unique URL. Content intentionally placed on those pages—such as names, event wording, images, and registry links—is visible to those visitors. Guest responses and the account holder’s private dashboard are not intended to be displayed publicly.
Because a recipient can forward a public link, account holders should avoid publishing information they would not want shared beyond the intended guest list.
7. How we disclose information
We may disclose information:
- To vendors that provide hosting, authentication, database, file-storage, email, security, analytics, file-generation, and AI services
- At an account holder’s direction, such as when publishing an invitation or linking to a registry
- To comply with law, legal process, or a valid government request
- When reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or service integrity
- In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections
We do not sell personal information for money. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by applicable law.
8. Service providers
We use third-party providers to operate Together Forever, including Supabase for authentication, database services, and file storage, and OpenAI for optional AI-assisted styling. Other infrastructure providers may support hosting, communications, security, analytics, and document generation. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms and privacy notices.
9. Cookies and similar technology
We use cookies and similar browser storage where needed to keep users signed in, remember recent workspace information, maintain security, and support core service functionality. We may also use limited technical information to understand performance and diagnose errors.
10. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it is processed. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to backup, fraud-prevention, security, and legal requirements.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated account areas and database access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Account holders should use a strong, unique password and share public invitation URLs only with intended recipients.
12. Your choices and privacy rights
Account holders can review and update certain invitation, registry, and account information through the service. They can also remove uploaded content, registry links, or guest responses where those controls are available.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; receive a portable copy; object to or restrict certain processing; or receive information about how data is used and disclosed. You may submit a request through the support channel available within the service. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and exceptions may apply under law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
13. Guest requests
Guests who want to correct or remove an invitation response should first contact the person who sent the invitation, because that account holder controls the guest list and can identify the relevant response. Guests may also contact Together Forever through the available support channel for assistance.
14. Children’s privacy
Together Forever is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate permission, please contact us so we can review the request.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or our practices change. We will update the date at the top of this page and provide reasonable notice if a change is material.
16. Contact
Questions, concerns, or privacy requests may be submitted through the support channel available within the service.
